Barbara Walters Reveals Past Affair With Pee-Wee Herman

CHICAGO, IL (IWR News Satire) - Barbara Walters, who co-hosts ABC's The View, revealed during the Oprah Winfrey Show that she had an affair in the 1980s with the movie star legend Pee-Wee Herman.

Walters, who discussed her memoir Audition on the show, described herself as "completely infatuated" with Herman, a famous movie actor, according to representatives for Walters and Winfrey.

Walters and Herman both believed public knowledge of their affair would ruin their careers and ended after Pee-Wee lost his bid for an academy award for Pee-Wee's Big Adventure in 1986, AP said.

Herman declined to comment by phone to the AP.
